Can I pay my bill with a credit card? Is there an extra charge?
Great news! Campus Creek added a new feature that lets you pay online! View your balance, submit electronic checks or pay with a Visa, MasterCard or Discover from any computer. Just log onto our website and click the "Pay Rent" link. This will take you to our resident pay rent portal page. There is a small convenience charge for this service.
Will you send me a bill each month for rent?
Yes! As a courtesy to the residents, Campus Creek does send rent invoices via mail each month for rent. Make sure you check with the office to make your payment before 9:00 AM on the 3rd of each month to avoid late charges, effective August 1, 2010.
If I am over 21, do I need to have a guarantor?
All residents of Campus Creek are required to have a guarantor. If you are unable to find a qualified guarantor, you may pay the equivalent of three (3) installments in advance. Check with the Leasing Office for details.
When is my first payment due?
Your first payment is due July 15, 2012 or upon Move-In if it is after the scheduled yearly Move-In.
If I pay in full, do I get a discount?
Currently, we do not offer a monetary discount on prepaid accounts.
What size are the beds?
Each bedroom contains a comfortable full-size bed.
Can additional furniture be brought into the apartment?
All of our apartment homes are very spacious and provide a lot of room for you to bring personal furniture items. All Campus Creek furniture must stay within your apartment so make sure to plan your decorating before arriving.
What do I need to hook up my computer to the internet?
We offer community wide Wi-Fi!
What types of leases are available?
Campus Creek offers 12-month leases beginning August 17, 2012 and ending July 31, 2013.
What types of apartments are available?
We offer two fully furnished floorplans: 3 bedroom / 3 bathroom apartment with 1,281 square feet and 4 bedroom / 4 bathroom apartment with 1,424 square feet.
How close are you to campus?
Campus Creek is located less than a mile and minute away for Ole Miss!
How much does it cost to live at Campus Creek?
Our spacious 3 bedroom / 3 bathroom apartment is $479 per person/per installment and our 4 bedroom / 4 bathroom apartment is only $489 per person/per installment!
Can I use my financial aid?
Any Campus Creek resident may pay in semester installments. We advise all residents to deposit the financial aid funds into a personal account and then issue a payment to us in the form of a check or money order, as we do not accept third party checks.
When can I move in?
Our Move-In date for the 2012/2013 term is August 17, 2012. Please note: Any missing paperwork or unfulfilled financial obligations may delay the Move-In process on the scheduled Move-In date.
What if I need to cancel my lease?
With the exception of joining the military, we do not offer a lease termination clause in the lease. The resident is responsible for the entire lease contract. Campus Creek does allow residents to transfer their lease agreement with proper authorization from the management staff.
Can I request an apartment or roommates?
Feel free to place as many requests as you would like on the back of your application. We will try to meet your requests as best as possible. Please understand that not all requests are guaranteed.
What time is your office open?
The front office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM-8:00 PM, Saturday from 10:00 AM-6:00 PM and Sunday from 1:00 PM-6:00 PM. NOTE - Management is in the office Monday through Friday 9:00 AM-5:00 PM.
Can you work at Campus Creek for a discount on rent?
We do have a Community Assistant program. You must be a part-time student and maintain a 2.5 GPA. Please visit the management office for a complete list of details regarding this program.
Is Campus Creek affiliated with the University?
We are not affiliated with the University but we work closely with the University to help serve our residents better.
Can you get out of the lease if you withdraw from school?
As mentioned earlier, we do not offer an official lease termination clause to our residents. All residents are responsible for the entire term of the contract.
What happens when you do not get along with your roommates?
Each case is handled on a case-by-case basis. You will first sit down with a Community Assistant and/or Community Manager to have a discussion about what the concerns are. After the discussion the decision on whether you will be able to move apartments will be made. This all depends on the availability of other apartments.
What happens if you do not know anyone to room with?
We are sending letters to all Campus Creek residents within the first few weeks of July so you will know who your roommates are and have the opportunity to meet them before moving in. If you do not have roommates we place you based on your answers on the Roommate Preference Sheet.
