Frequently Asked Questions

Have a question about Campus Creek apartments? Search for an answer among the following FAQs.

Can I pay my bill with a credit card? Is there an extra charge?
Great news! Campus Creek added a new feature that lets you pay online! View your balance, submit electronic checks or pay with a Visa, MasterCard or Discover from any computer. Just log onto our website and click the "Pay Rent" link. This will take you to our resident pay rent portal page. There is a small convenience charge for this service.
Will you send me a rent reminder each month?
Yes! As a courtesy to the residents, Campus Creek does send rent email reminders each month. Make sure you check with the office to make your payment before 9:00 AM on the 3rd of each month to avoid late charges.
If I am over 21, do I need to have a guarantor?

Yes. All leases are required to have a guarantor. If an approved guarantor cannot be approved, EdR Management, Inc. will accept a security deposit of three (3) month's rent.

Can additional furniture be brought into the apartment?
All of our apartment homes are very spacious and provide a lot of room for you to bring personal furniture items. All Campus Creek furniture must stay within your apartment so make sure to plan your decorating before arriving.
Can I request an apartment or roommates?
Feel free to place as many requests as you would like on the back of your application. We will try to meet your requests as best as possible. Please understand that not all requests are guaranteed.
Can I use my financial aid?
Any Campus Creek resident may pay in semester installments. We advise all residents to deposit the financial aid funds into a personal account and then issue a payment to us in the form of a check or money order, as we do not accept third party checks.
Can you get out of the lease if you withdraw from school?
As mentioned earlier, we do not offer an official lease termination clause to our residents. All residents are responsible for the entire term of the contract.
Can you work at Campus Creek for a discount on rent?
We do have a Community Assistant program. You must be a part-time student and maintain a 2.5 GPA. Please visit the management office for a complete list of details regarding this program.
How close are you to campus?
Campus Creek is located less than a mile and minutes away for Ole Miss!
How are roommates matched?
We have partnered with RoomSync to provide a modern matching platform where residents choose their own roommates. After you complete the leasing process you will be emailed a link to join our RoomSync network. You will then log in to RoomSync using Facebook, create a matching profile, and begin your search to find your new best friend - or roommate for starters. If you already have a roommate in mind, you can confirm your roommate request within RoomSync.
How are rooms assigned?
Residents who already have preferred roommates can confirm their roommate match requests using RoomSync, our roommate matching platform. If they do not already have a roommate, residents will search for and choose their own roommate using RoomSync. Residents will be able to communicate with each other during and after the selection process. In the event that potential roommates discover that they are no longer compatible, they can request a different roommate and we will do our best to accommodate any change request. To provide sufficient time and the greatest opportunity for residents to find the perfect roommate, they should apply and sign a lease as early as possible.
If I pay in full, do I get a discount?
Currently, we do not offer a monetary discount on prepaid accounts.
Is Campus Creek affiliated with the University?
We are not affiliated with the University but we work closely with the University to help serve our residents better.
What do I need to hook up my computer to the internet?
We offer community wide Wi-Fi!
What happens if you do not know anyone to room with?
We are sending letters to all Campus Creek residents within the first few weeks of July so you will know who your roommates are and have the opportunity to meet them before moving in. If you do not have roommates we place you based on your answers on the Roommate Preference Sheet.
What happens when you do not get along with your roommates?
Each case is handled on a case-by-case basis. You will first sit down with a Community Assistant and/or Community Manager to have a discussion about what the concerns are. After the discussion the decision on whether you will be able to move apartments will be made. This all depends on the availability of other apartments.
What if I need to cancel my lease?
With the exception of joining the military, we do not offer a lease termination clause in the lease. The resident is responsible for the entire lease contract. Campus Creek does allow residents to transfer their lease agreement with proper authorization from the management staff.
What size are the beds?
Each bedroom contains a comfortable full-size bed.
What types of leases are available?
Campus Creek offers a 12-month lease, as well as 5 and 10-month leases. Please call the office for further details.
When can I move in?

Fall 2017 move-in is August 14, 2017. Please note: Any missing paperwork or unfulfilled financial obligations may delay the move-in process on the scheduled move-in date.

When is my first payment due?
